We are with an old lady in a special room which has glass sliding doors. We are comforting her because we are her loved ones and she is afraid. She is afraid because she thinks there is a dark figure after her.
We do this everyday.
Every night as she goes to sleep we leave shutting the sliding doors behind us to reassure her that the room is sealed shut, but every morning we return to find a note by the bed. The note is signed by Batman.
We debate that he must have snuck past us in the night again and we analyse the contents of the note to determine just how close Batman was getting.
Despite her fear the lady in the bed always keeps a bright attitude, even though we know Batman intends on taking her life.
I am comforting some of her loved ones, the last to leave. They go and I decide to shut the curtains around her. I leave goodwill and exit down the hall. Halfway down the hall I realize I forgot something. I spin around and renter the room.
I see Batman crouched down by the foot of her bed.
He is staring at me.

“Another of my dreams which features a superhero of some sort, making me think that these superheroes are our equivalent of mythology – The Greeks had Dionysus and Zeus, we have Superman and Batman.
This dream had an eerie feeling, and had some obvious relevance death or depression coming to “get” the old lady, perhaps the tension in the dream was the inability of the loved ones to accept the inevitable, and overcome their own sorrow to help the old lady with her fear of the inevitable.
There was nothing going on in my life at the time in relation to it, but these images to remind me of various situations in the past with friends who passed on and relatives who came close. It is both a layered and even comic dream.”
