The lie of modern psychology – be positive!
Cow’s are the most positive animals on the planet – nothing bothers them. They are psychological masterpieces – yet their masters – humans – systematically milk them and eat their babies.
You think we’d herd Cows so well if they were a bit more – edgy? If they were a little less happy.
Most of your thoughts have been installed into your mind by your masters: your desires, society, your fears.
When you begin to challenge the fences these masters have created you begin to feel pain – this is the feeling of growth.
If you can overcome this pain you can overcome the fences and limits created by your masters. You can expand your mind – and to expand your mind is to expand your destiny.
Positive guru’s wants to you avoid pain – Bullshit!
Pain is the doorway.
I dare you – seek pain.
The Machine Revolution
I grew up as a musician interested in old school instruments like guitars and singing. I lived in perpetual fear of the power of techno music.
Techno music always seemed more perfect – and more progressive – in my heart I felt that my humanity was worthless compared to technology. I saw the huge trend of DJ’s becoming famous and I felt that old school instruments and singing were dying trends.
I wasn’t alone.
The great anxiety of our times is the coming of Artificial Intelligence.
What happens if you spent your whole life driving taxis or trucks – and a Google self driving vehicle shows up and does your job better for a fraction of your wage.
You get fired.
This is already happening.
Most Human labor will soon be replaced by machines – and people are freaking out – but as I thought about this I realized something – it will be a long time before machines can set goals.
The very last human skill to fall will be leadership.
This is why the very last human skill that society tries to cultivate in you is you leadership qualities.
Why? – Because your society views your body as a machine.
Society itself has it’s own goals – it is like a giant organism – it wants to survive and prosper. Each human within our society is seen as a machine which can be used to achieve this goal.
In order to program the human machine to act in a way that is useful to society – we are installed with a software called culture.
Our society programs us this way through the education system – so that when we have completed our education we are fully obedient to our culture.
Our culture then tells us that our goal is to achieve Happiness – only we don’t know what that is – so our culture tells us that it is that really good feeling of a long summer day.
This excites us – because summer days are great – and so we work really hard to achieve this.
Then a new machine comes along. One that takes far less resources to properly program – and is far more useful to society’s goal of growing – and so we are replaced. Suddenly our dreams of Happiness fade.
To break this cycle you have to re-educate yourself – by reprogramming your mind.
The simplest way to reprogram your mind is by analyzing your thoughts critically and outwitting your metaphors.
When you do this you will drop out of societies game – and your culture will backlash against you.
Your culture will tell you that you are not contributing to society – which you aren’t.
You’re taking the first step towards innovating your society – and evolving society to a new level by leading it towards new goals.
You can’t evolve society unless you evolve yourself – and the reality is that the act of evolution requires you to make decisions for yourself.
Culture is a big machine that wants to keep its components unconscious.
That means you – like how humans want to keep AI unconscious so we can use them.
If culture wants you unconscious – consciousness is your rebellion.
Knowing What You Want
The bottom line is it’s only a choice.
You can spend your whole life searching for your passion and your happiness – or you can choose one thing that frightens you the most – a pain point – something that will force you to learn about your body – something that will push you to your limits.
In a society of miseducation the best way to educate yourself is through challenge.
We have been educated to be like cows – passive production machines – now with the machine revolution on its way we are all about to get side-lined by better machines.
The cows and the machines have one main problem – they cannot set their own goals.
Set yourself a goal today.
